One man can awaken another. And then waken his next door brother And the three awake, can awaken the town By turning the whole place upside down And the many awake can make such a fuss That they finally awaken the rest of us One man up with dawn in his eyes ... MULTIPLIES

From heaven’s standpoint, all spiritual victories are won not primarily in the pulpit, not primarily in the light of publicity, nor yet through the ostentatious blaring of trumpets, but in the secret place of prayer

Spirit filled souls are ablaze for God, they love with a love that glows, they serve with a faith that kindles, they serve with a devotion that consumes, they hate sin with a fieriness that burns, they rejoice with a joy that radiates. Love is perfected in the fire of God.

I am so amazed at the true nature of God. One thing that has been ringing though my head is that God loves me because he loves me. There is nothing I can do to make him love me. I don’t want to just feel his love, I want to know it.

Love is kindled in a flame, that is the love of god. Ardency is its life, flame is the air which the true Christian experience breathes. it feeds on fire, it can withstand anything rather than a feeble flame, but when the atmosphere around is frigid or lukewarm it dies, it chills starves to it’s vitals. True prayer must be a flame.
